We Call to Confirm

After you submit your quote request, we call you back within a few hours. On that call we confirm the scope of work, answer any questions, and lock in a time that suits you. We ask a few quick questions about access, gates, pets, and any specific concerns so we can prepare properly.

We do not use a call centre. You will speak directly with the person doing the work — which means no miscommunication between office and crew on the day.

We Show Up on Time

We arrive at the agreed time with all equipment loaded and ready. No waiting around for a second vehicle or separate chemical delivery. Our vehicles carry commercial-grade pressure washers, soft wash systems, surface cleaning attachments, and the correct treatments for your specific surfaces.

Before we begin, we do a quick walk-around with you to confirm scope and point out anything that needs special care. If we spot something that changes the price, we tell you before we start — never after.

The Right Method for Every Surface

Not every surface gets the same treatment. We use high-pressure cleaning for concrete driveways, paths and hard surfaces, and low-pressure soft washing for roofs, render, painted surfaces and timber. Using the wrong method causes damage — stripped coatings, voided warranties, blown-out grout. We use the right tool for each job.

Our house washing uses a biodegradable soft wash solution that kills mould at the root rather than just blasting it off the surface. This means it takes longer to come back. For driveway cleaning we use a rotary surface cleaner that gives even coverage and eliminates the striping you get from a wand.

Clean Up and Walkthrough

When the job is done, we clean up fully — no chemical residue left on garden beds, no dirty water pooled on paths, no hoses left coiled across your driveway. We do a final walkthrough with you to make sure everything meets your expectations before we pack up and leave.

If there is anything you are not happy with, we fix it on the spot. We want you to be the person who sends us photos of the result and tells their neighbours about us — so we do not leave until the job is right.

Invoice and Payment

We invoice you after the job is complete and you are satisfied with the result. Payment by bank transfer or card. We do not ask for deposits on standard residential jobs — you pay when the work is done and you are happy with it.

For larger commercial or strata jobs, we provide a formal written quote upfront and may request a deposit to secure scheduling. All terms are agreed before any work begins.

Do I need to be home when you clean?

Not necessarily. For external work like driveways and house washing, we just need access to the property and a water tap. We will let you know what access we need when we confirm the booking.

How long does a typical job take?

A driveway takes one to two hours. A full house wash typically takes two to four hours depending on size. A full property package — driveway, house wash and roof — is usually a full day job. We will give you a time estimate when we confirm your booking.

Will pressure cleaning damage my garden?

We use biodegradable, plant-safe cleaning solutions and rinse thoroughly. We take care around garden beds and advise you in advance if any areas need covering. In over 100 jobs we have never had a garden damage claim.

How often should I have my property pressure cleaned?

On the Sunshine Coast, we recommend annual cleaning for most properties. Coastal and canal-front properties, or those with heavy tree cover, benefit from cleaning every 6 to 12 months. Roofs typically need cleaning every two to three years.

Do you work on weekends?

Yes. We work Monday to Saturday. Saturday bookings have a small surcharge to account for the additional cost. We do not work Sundays as a general rule, but can discuss exceptions for urgent commercial jobs.

Are you insured?

Yes, Surface Co. carries full public liability insurance. Proof of insurance is available on request for strata, commercial and property management clients.
