Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of services provided by Surface Co. Pressure Cleaning ("Surface Co.", "we", "us", or "our"), operating from Buderim, Queensland, Australia. By booking our services or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Services
Surface Co. provides professional pressure cleaning and soft washing services for residential and commercial properties across the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. Services include but are not limited to house washing, driveway cleaning, roof cleaning, deck cleaning, patio and pool area cleaning, solar panel cleaning, commercial cleaning, and body corporate cleaning.
All services are subject to availability and our assessment of suitability for your specific property and surfaces.
2. Quotes and Pricing
All quotes provided, whether via our online instant quote tool, by phone, or by email, are indicative estimates only. Final pricing is confirmed on-site prior to commencement of work, based on actual measurements, surface conditions, and access assessment.
Our instant quote estimator provides a price range based on the information you provide. This range is for guidance only and does not constitute a binding quote or contract. Actual prices may vary based on:
- Actual area measurements confirmed on site
- Degree of soiling, staining, or organic growth
- Site access conditions
- Additional services identified or requested on the day
We will always confirm the final price with you before beginning work. You are under no obligation to proceed if the confirmed price differs from your estimate.
Quote validity: written quotes are valid for 14 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
3. Booking and Scheduling
Bookings are confirmed verbally or in writing. We will provide you with a scheduled date and approximate time window for your service. We make every effort to attend at the scheduled time and will notify you if we are delayed or need to reschedule.
You are responsible for ensuring access to the property and the relevant areas to be cleaned on the scheduled date. This includes ensuring an outdoor water tap is accessible. If access is not available on the day and no prior notice is given, a cancellation fee may apply (see Section 5).
4. Customer Responsibilities
Prior to our arrival, you agree to:
- Remove vehicles from driveway areas to be cleaned
- Move outdoor furniture, pot plants, and items from areas to be cleaned
- Close windows on the side of the house being washed
- Ensure pets are secured away from the work area
- Advise us of any known fragile surfaces, recent paintwork, or specific concerns
Failure to prepare the property appropriately may result in additional time charges or areas that cannot be cleaned on the scheduled visit.
5. Cancellation and Rescheduling
We understand circumstances change. Our cancellation policy is:
- Cancellation or rescheduling with more than 24 hours notice: no charge
- Cancellation with less than 24 hours notice: a cancellation fee of $75 may apply
- No access on the day of the booking without prior notice: a call-out fee of $75 applies
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule bookings due to severe weather, equipment issues, or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, we will contact you as soon as possible and rebook at your earliest convenience at no additional charge.
6. Payment
Payment is due on completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash, bank transfer, and major credit and debit cards. For larger commercial or body corporate jobs, payment terms may be negotiated separately.
For commercial and body corporate clients, invoice payment terms are 14 days from invoice date unless agreed otherwise. Overdue invoices may incur interest at 1.5% per month.
7. Satisfaction Guarantee
We stand behind the quality of our work. If you are not satisfied with any aspect of the service, please advise us within 48 hours of completion and we will return to address the concern at no additional charge.
Our satisfaction guarantee applies to the quality of cleaning performed. It does not cover pre-existing damage, permanent staining that could not reasonably be removed, or areas that were inaccessible during the service.
8. Limitations and Exclusions
While we take all reasonable care, Surface Co. is not responsible for:
- Pre-existing damage to surfaces that may become more apparent after cleaning
- Permanent staining that cannot be removed by professional cleaning
- Damage to surfaces that the customer failed to disclose as fragile, recently painted, or non-standard
- Displacement of loose paver sand during cleaning (normal and expected with some paver types)
- Items left in the work area that are moved or affected during cleaning
We will advise you of any concerns identified during our on-site assessment before commencing work.
9. Insurance
Surface Co. carries comprehensive public liability insurance. Certificates of currency are available upon request for commercial and body corporate clients. All work is performed by trained and insured technicians.
10. Website Use
The information on our website, including the instant quote estimator, is provided for general informational purposes only. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy or completeness of pricing estimates generated by the tool. Use of our website is at your own risk.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
